Notes:
1. Revision 1.0.1, released 7-18-6, updated the XDIO API to reflect the fact that the value read from the data register will show the actual voltage sensed at the pin, even though the pin might be an output programmed to a different level. (This happens, for example, if you set the output high but have too much load on the output, in which case you might read the pin back as a logic low.)
2. There are only 12 bits of resolution available for generating pulses. Thus for example the longest pulse you can generate is on the order of 1/8th of a second. The XDIO code does not detect if you've asked for a larger value than will fit into the PWM registers.
